Lost Mountain Vineyards

Delaplane  ·  Fauquier County  ·  Virginia

Lost Mountain Vineyards, known for over a decade as RdV, is the essence of what Virginia can produce when conviction and uncompromising skill are given time to speak. On an ancient granite hillside once surveyed by George Washington, founder Rutger de Vink and winemaker Joshua Grainer MW coaxed from long-dismissed land wines that now stand, in blind tastings, alongside the First Growths of Bordeaux. Now stewarded by the Bouygues family of Château Montrose, the estate remains proof that great wine is a matter of place, patience, and conviction.
